Hi, I'm Belinda.
I'm a project manager with 10 years' experience connecting people, culture, and technology to drive meaningful change across education, for-profit, and social impact sectors. Currently, I work at an edtech company, where I translate knowledge across technical and non-technical teams—bridging strategy, learning design, and implementation.

I'm a UX design graduate and certified in project management (PMP®), with experience in agile methodologies. I'm currently completing a Master of Information at the University of Toronto with a double concentration in Human-Centred Data Science and Information Systems and Design, alongside a collaborative specialization in Aging, Palliative and Supportive Care Across the Life Course.

I'm also pursuing a human resources designation (CHRP).

Drawing from diverse disciplines, I root my work in lived experience while maintaining a vision for how we design systems that work with and for people. This commitment is shaped by my experience as a caregiver and person with an invisible disability, which taught me the power of storytelling to navigate loss, articulate everyday challenges, and find meaning in complexity.

I began my career in contemporary and new media art, using cultural ideas to make sense of the world and deepen my understanding of how we connect with each other. While working in theoretical and speculative environments, I observed that a lack of business strategy and practical tools often prevented beautiful ideas from taking root.

This led me to a guiding belief: technology should serve people, not the other way around. I work to build trust in technological systems by ensuring they're accessible, human-centered, and aligned with the communities they're meant to support, whether in mission-driven organizations or commercial ventures seeking sustainable impact.

As a lifelong learner and the swiss army knife of small teams, I seek knowledge across disciplines to bridge sectors and functionalities, foster intentional collaboration, and uncover shared opportunities. My technical expertise and education have sharpened my abilities in team management, conflict resolution, and the implementation of strategic initiatives that balance analytical precision with empathetic understanding.

Leveraging methods in learning, service, and product strategy, I support communities and organizations in building partnerships and achieving change with purpose, creating futures where technology serves collective wellbeing over narrow interests.
